Arc The Lad is an anime based on a series of RPGs for PlayStation. In the world described by anime, mankind was protected by guardian spirits of evil elements and lived in harmony with them. The opening theme for the anime series was the "Arc the Lad Main Theme" by Masahiro Andoh. Two ending themes were sung by NiNa: Happy Tomorrow and Rest in Peace.

Shin Sekai Yori tells about the events of the future, in which people have learned to use telekinesis, and the appearance of humanoid intelligent beings. In the same year, the studio A-1 Pictures has released the anime adaptation of the manga series, directed by Masashi Isihama.
