Asura Cryin First Season

Asura Cryin' is a light novel series by Gakuto Mikumo, published from July 10, 2005 in fourteen volumes, which are sometimes even a manga and an anime. The anime is made in two series: the first broadcast from 2 April 2009 and the second from 1 October 2009. The opening theme used for the first season is "Spiral" by Angela, and the ending theme is "Link", also by Angela.

The story takes place in a high school, and revolves around the protagonist, Tomoharu Natsume, a boy who walks accompanied by his childhood friend, Misao Minakami (who became a ghost after a plane crash that happened three years ago , and which Tomoharu barely survived himself).

Tomoharu have the opportunity to live when he enter high school and their new place of residence and starts enjoying a carefree life as a high school student. But his life changes when a beautiful girl named Kurosaki Shuri (also involved in the accident) with a briefcase that appears says was sent by Tomoharu's brother, Natsume Naotaka.

The boy will be prosecuted to the first student council of the school and the family of demons "Takatsuki", who try to prevent the emergence of a powerful machine with special abilities.
