Three young girls, Hikaru Shidou, Umi and Fuu Hououji, are conveyed to a magical world called Cephiro during a field trip to Tokyo Tower with their corresponding schools. 
They are soon saluted by Master Mage Clef, who illustrates to them that they have been sent for to become the Legendary Magic Knights and save Cephiro. Magic and the Devil (machine) was granted a 3 to rescue the captured Princess Emeraude. Zagado ministers set out on an adventure of war.
