For the first season, the opening theme is "Crowds" by White Ash while the ending theme is "Innocent Note" by Maaya Uchida. For the second season, the opening theme is "Insight" by White Ash while the ending theme is "60 Oku no Tsubasa" (6 Billion Wings) by Angry Frog Rebirth.
The series is set in early summer 2015 in the city of Tachikawa , a "second city" of Tokyo. It is protected by the so-called G-Force, warriors who fight with the special suits reinforced, strengthened by the demonstration of their spiritual powers called NOTES. Following the instructions of their latest member, the energetic and cheerful Hajime Ichinose, Gatchaman must contend against Berg Katze: an enigmatic alien creature bent on destroying the Earth just as it did in the past with many other planets.
