K is a television series anime of 2012 produced the study GoHands and directed by Shingo Suzuki , who also did the character design of the series. The opening theme song is "KINGS" by Angela and the ending theme song is "Tsumetai Heya, Hitori" by Mikako Komatsu.
Fighting rages between gangs of young people with psychic powers and each headed by a King. Yashiro, a popular and carefree schoolboy finds himself embroiled in hostilities because of its resemblance to one of the Kings -Kaze-.
The story takes place in present Japan, but, delicately different from reality, are seven kings fighting each other, and the fate of a boy who ends between these battles strange abilities. "The Red King" Suoh Mikoto, who leads HOMRA and "King Blue" Munakata Reisi led Sector 4, both chasing the suspect in one case, Isana Yashiro, who has to face them one after another. However, Shiro, who is not guilty, and he will flee from one another as both groups without even knowing it. And then, appearing in front of Shiro, is a long-haired guy wearing all black, Yatogami Kuroh. With this meeting, the fate of Shiro is now ahead.
