The title Little Busters! come from a group of friends in the story named the little guys that the main protagonist, Riki Naoe, has been a member since childhood. The Opening Theme "Little Busters!" and Ending Theme "Alicemagic" are both sung by Rita.
The story of Little Busters! focuses on the hero Riki Naoe, a young student. When Riki was a child, his parents died, and he remained desperate and depressed. He was rescued by a group of three boys and a girl of her age, calling themselves the Little Busters, a group calling itself the mission to fight evil and preserve justice.
The group leader was Kyousuke Natsume, who has a little sister named Rin. The other two members were Masato Inohara and Kengo Miyazawa who, although friends, were rivals in sport. The group is busy and Riki played with him when he needed it, making him the fifth member of the Little Busters. Riki enjoyed playing with them, and force her grief for the death of his parents began to disappear. When the story begins, Riki and his friends are apparently in the second year of high school, except Kyousuke who is in his third year. They are always together and enjoy their life at school.
