Toward the Terra-Endscape

The action of Toward the Terra is set in the distant future. Humanity had to migrate to other planets following the environmental degradation of the Earth. The first opening theme, spanning episodes 1-13, was "endscape", performed by the band Uverworld, while the first ending theme is "Love is", performed by Miliyah Kato.

By trying to develop the industry at the expense of nature, humanity has finally managed to make Earth uninhabitable. The few survivors then created a new government called Superior Domination and left their home planet. To avoid past mistakes a strict new system, called "Universal Control", was introduced. Indeed, to achieve the perfect society, births are regulated and every child on the day of his 14 years is subject to a test of maturity. If the test is successful, the child becomes an adult and comes to himself.

Living in one of these new worlds, Jomy Marquis Shin is a teenager doing quite turbulent and consistently the same dream. He sees a young visionary always talking to a man about the future of the people of Mu. On the day of its control of maturity, he realizes that the first phase of the latter is to clear all memory. While the erasure process is underway, the man of her dreams appears and helps him escape.

He learns to Jomy it is part of the people like him to Mü and that it is a people descended from humanity but, unlike humans, has psychic powers. Not within the plans of the "Universal Control", the authorities try to eliminate them. Considered to be "chosen" people's Mü, Jomy will struggle against the government. He will see that behind this system that attempts to achieve a utopia, lies ultimately a grim truth that the feelings do not belong ...
