Fruits Basket - Furuba

The story focuses on a student named Toru begins to live with various family members of the peculiar Souma and gradually gets to know the whole family.

The family suffers a curse Souma why if you are hugged by someone of the opposite sex or encounters he / she becomes an animal of the Chinese Zodiac. The opening theme is "For Fruits Basket" and ending theme "Chiisana Inori; Small Prayer" are both performed by Ritsuko Okazaki

The sequence begins shortly after Toru Honda, a high school student, lost his mother in an accident. She went to live with his grandfather, but as he had gone to the house of a relative for renovations needed to be done at home, Toru decides to go live alone in a tent that has been a vacant lot, knowing that was owned by the family Sōma in the woods. Toru is maintained with a temporary job and hopes to help his grandfather.

Toru falls ill and is "rescued" by Yuki Souma the "prince" and wished her school boy. When Toru dawns at home of Yuki, he realizes that the land in which she was camping belongs to the famous family Souma. The house that Souma have in this land belongs to Shigure. That appears Kyou (cousin of Yuki), intending to challenge Yuki to a fight. Toru tries to stop Yuki and Kyou not to fight, but in doing so, stumbles upon a piece of wood that had fallen from the ceiling, falling on Kyou, Yuki and Shigure. The surprise of Toru is huge when to contact with her, the three members of the family Souma transform into animals.
