The series can be divided into two parts: action and drama. The first component - is constant shooting, car chases and fights. The local drama is very closely connected with Ganz - reasoning primarily on violence and its causes, thinking about building an ideal world. The title is pseudo-German and literally means "Pale Rider." The anime series has two Opening theme and four Ending theme. Sad Rain for Ending Theme 1 and Separating Moment for Ending Theme 2. Both songs are performed by Aki Misato.
Gerd Frentzen has lost all hope to get back on its feet after the accident on motorcycle racing, which is caused by an obsessed alloy. However, he was given a second chance. And helping a special squad to combat these creatures. He had to learn the price of his recovery. Nevertheless, he gets better with the help of a mysterious woman, reviving as a super-powered cyborg himself. Even though, there is more to his miraculous comeback than meets the eye, and he's not the only super-cyborg on the block... he's not even one of the strongest, because this show is not about him...
